Training for Youth Trek 2005

This weekend Dewayne and I went on a training trek with all of the "Ma's and Pa's" for this coming stake youth trek. It was very enjoyable and very informative. Our sleeping bags ended up just being a little damp from an early rainstorm and not putting the bags into a trash bag. We were asked to be a ma and pa for the training and ended up calling ourselves the "badgers" and had a wonderful time. The most life changing part was what they called the "Women's Pull" where they reinacted the men going to war and the women being left to pull the handcarts alone. Very powerful experience.
