Calvin Eagle Scout Project

Calvin did his Eagle Project and it went great! He signed up to put 650 school desks together before a new school opened this fall. We had a ton of help...Calvin did a wonderful job of leading the whole affair, and things worked out nicely. The only hiccup was when the first grade desks were all put together, just as the principal had asked, but then a first grade teacher said she thought they were too tall. Sure enough, we sat a few 6 year olds in the chairs and they seemed too tall. So 100 of the desks were taken apart and put back together at a different height.
