New Zealand Temple

We arrived in Hamilton in the evening. It was about a two hour drive from Auckland. We just drove to the temple and visitors center that evening. We met a Brother and Sister Thornley, who are on a two year mission at the visitor's center. Really beautiful country side. The church owns a school that is right next door to the temple. The high schoolers 9-12 grades go to the church owned school. But apparently they are going to discontinue the school soon. It was very beautiful. We took this picture with a rainbow in the shot, the New Zealand flag flying by the temple and the temple beautiful on the hill. Then the next morning we took in a session, and enjoyed being among the New Zealand members.
