Golfing on Ahope, NZ golf coarse

Here Dewayne concentrates on getting an Eagle! Ha, just kidding. We did have a blast tho. We golfed on a beautiful course that had the ocean on one side and a bay on the other. The pictures just don't do NZ justice. Below, Dewayne tries to play a little pool to get the ball in. Luckily, there were no other golfers to rush us. We took in 18 holes and it took us about 4 1/2 hours.

Here we took a picture, witht the camera set on self timer, showing the ocean behind us at the 18th tee. And then we found someone at the clubhouse to snap our picture with the Bay in the background. It was winter time while we were there...if you can believe it. The only way we were able to tell it was winter, was by the few trees that had not leafed yet. But its the most beautiful winter I've ever seen. We were only on the North Island. Winter on the South Island is full of snow and skiing. There is really no end to the amount of things to do in NZ.
